Registration Committee

This committee is responsible for getting the word out regarding Fall and Spring registration. They will mail out reminders to day cares and membership, hand out flyers, post signs, have announced in Bullitt County and Okolona newsletters and other such activities that the committee decides would be beneficial in increasing membership.
Field Maintenance Committee

This committee will maintain the soccer fields assuring they are prepared and ready for practice and match day. Responsibilities include cutting grass, assuring nets are up and secure, benches are in good repair, lining fields and any other such activities that provide a safe and enjoyable soccer season.
Fundraiser Committee

This committee will help raise money for the club to support the club’s mission to promote the development of soccer in our area and within our membership. Activities would include promoting the club to obtain sponsorships and donations, candy, T-Shirt sales and other such activities the committee would develop. These funds are important to allow the club to grow. The funds would allow for capital projects to improve the club such as new goals, nets, field space leveling, benches, repairs to club house, field maintenance projects (grass seed, fertilization, aeration) and coaching support (cones, balls, coaching courses). Funds would also allow the club to increase membership benefits (paid tournament participation, trophies) and/or decrease registration fees.
Purchaser Committee

This committee will help with the purchasing of items needed for the club. They will make recommendations to the board on where the club should purchase based on price, quality and what will meet the clubs needs.
Social Media Committee

This committee is responsible for the propagation of OSC related content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and other social media outlets. Their purpose is to engage current and potential players their families with digital media (photo & video), information about OSC’s upcoming registration dates/events, and general soccer related information. They will be the first line of communication, and will be responding to any direct messages to our social media accounts.
IT/Web Development Committee

This committee is responsible for maintenance of the OSC Website, and assists with the social media accounts. They are responsible for maintaining the www.okolonasoccerclub.com domain and email accounts, as well as handling any other information technology related tasks designated by club leadership.
