About Us

Our History

Founded in 1977 by Everett Polley, Jr., Okolona Soccer Club is a recreational soccer club in the Louisville area. We support youth soccer players of all ages through our Under 6 Academy, as well as older age groups through High School.

We are a nonprofit that is fully staffed by volunteers. Most of us have a vested interest in the well-being of the Club— whether because we played here as a child or because our child is playing here now. Our board votes on and makes decisions about club business and works to balance the good of the club with the good of the game and what’s best for the youth in our community.

Our Mission

To provide recreational soccer opportunities for youth in the Louisville area. We work with our players to build their character and confidence while learning soccer in a fun, positive, and developmentally-appropriate environment.

Our Vision

We strive to create lifelong participation within the soccer community, starting with recreational play at our club and progressing into refereeing, coaching, volunteering, and advocacy. As such, we aim to act as a bridge between the sport of soccer and the greater community by providing positive activities for our youth to develop into productive adults.
